So much has happened since my last journal entry. Humm... Well, I lost my old man, DJ back in May. I miss him so much. It sure doesn't feel like six months. I loved that dog and his sure is missed by his "siblings." He was nine years old.

In Nov 2008 I got a betta fish. He was a birthday present. And well, that started a fast growing hobby. I've got me a lot of betta splendens now. lol

Emily Rose is now going on 5 years old in January. Oh man! That vet sure was wrong. She told us three years ago that Em's arthritis was so bad that she wouldn't be able to walk by the time she was five. Boy was she wrong! Sure isn't anything like a tough bulldog to get through anything! American Pit Bull Terriers are the best dogs ever!! My baby girl is still going strong!

My boy Oden Parker celebrated his one year Gotcha Day on Sept 28. I love that cat so much. My girls Destiny May and Angel Marie are old ladies now too. Dest just turned 8 and Angel turned 7 in September. I love my old ladies.

Humm... I need to do more art. I'm just not motivated to do it. lol Any ideas on how to get me back into it? I never claimed to be a good artist but I do love to draw. I'm just never satisfied with my work. lol

I haven't been on for a long time!

The last time I wrote a journal entry about about this time last year on my Emily's birthday. Well, it's that time again!

My old man DJ just turned NINE on Jan. 5, 2009. Emily will be FOUR on Jan. 29, 2009.

Boy how time flies! I think I originally thought that I was going to leave DA. I took down all my art except one piece that wasn't totally mine; I just colored it.

I just logged on today and saw how many messages I had and I had to go through them all. I've missed looking at all the art!

Today is my baby's birthday! She's THREE-years-old now. Dang!!! It doesn't seem like it was all that long ago when I picked up a tiny 10-week-old, squishy puppy.

So much has happened to us all in the last few years. I have definately grown up a lot mentally. You know, it's hard owning one of those "vicious" pit bulldogs. I feel that I'm no longer that quite girl that never speaks up. I will try to educate anyone who says negative things about my wonderful breed.

Emily being diagnosed with arthritis was much harder on me than her I think. When I first found out, I thought I was going to have a mental breakdown. I'm so proud of my girl. She's so strong and brave and she can get through anything. She'll do almost anything I ask of her.
